Ótimo segundo dia em São Paulo!

Today we began by viewing some famous art at “MASP” both from Brazilian artists and international artists. It was really interesting to see both modern art and renaissance art and compare the different styles and techniques. I am not a big art aficionado but I was able to appreciate the art and the different styles. We then proceeded to walk down “Avenida Paulista” which is closed on Sundays and is open to pedestrians and street vendors! It was really cool to see all of the different people shopping and walking on the avenue. There was a good mix of Brazilians and tourists. Then it was off to Liberdade, a Japanese neighbourhood in São Paulo. The Japanese influence and architecture was heavily felt when we were walking around Liberdade. We then went to “Shopping Eldorado”, a gorgeous mall in São Paulo. We ate and did some shopping before heading back to the hotel for our complimentary drink with some of the Canadian students. We were all super tired so we went to bed and got ready for a big next day!
