What a lively city!

I find myself in awe of what Sao Paolo has to offer. Today, we visited Avenida Paulista, one of the most important avenues in the city that is lined with many financial and cultural institutions, including the Museu de Arte de Sao Paolo. On Sundays, the street is closed off to allow people to walk on the road or to allow others to bike along the path. We found many stand operators selling various goods including drinks, street food, jewelry, clothes, and home decor. My favourite purchase was a pineapple flavoured sugar cane drink made right in front of me. It was delicious! After our visit to the museu, we ate lunch at a restaurant nearby where I tried pasteis for the first time and really enjoyed them. Later, we visited the city’s Japantown, Liberdade, and a mall with our Brazilian friends to do some shopping, and ended the night relaxing with friends at the hotel. Overall, I had a great day among my friends, as we were able to experience what the city has to offer - a lively, busy, yet welcoming atmosphere that has something to please everyone.
