Today was such an incredible day. We got to meet so many of the Brazilian students and learn about so many of the differences between our schooling in Canada verses theirs here in Brazil, we also visited Museu da Casa Brasileira. It was absolutely stunning and had such a beautiful display out in the garden, with an outdoor restaurant. Although we were limited to one section of the museum, we were able to see the family that donated their home for the Meuse and all the great things they had accomplished in they’re time. Accompanied by wondering paintings by famous Brazilian artist. I have never felt more welcomed and happy then I have during my first day here. Everyone is so kind and supportive of our experience here, I’m really looking forward to learning more about the rich culture of Brazil and the valuable takeaways I can apply to my own life in Canada.
