Day 4

Yesterday, we were welcomed to the Cubo Itaù business hub. This non-profit organization is dedicated to helping smaller and startup organizations in growing their operations through networking and resource sharing opportunities. As a link between larger multinationals and smaller startups, Cubo enables collaboration between them, as they fill the gap in various sectors of the Brazilian market. In Windsor, we have a similar concept found at the University of Windsor’s EpiCentre. This program enables student entrepreneurs to create and grow their business ideas into actual businesses. While the target audience of these hubs are different, they share common goals such as collaboration and community involvement.

In the afternoon, we were invited to visit the Canadian Consulate in Sao Paolo to meet with foreign and export trade professionals. During our visit, we were given feedback on our research conducted on possible opportunities to export Canadian goods and services. Thank you for the insightful and helpful advice.
