After a long flight, we finally arrived in São Paulo. It was amazing to see what we have all been talking about and researching come to life while we drove from the airport to our hotel. Palm trees, shops, beautiful buildings and lots of people lined the streets. After dropping our stuff off we met up with our Brazilian friends from UNIFESP that are going to take us along this journey! We had the opportunity to try traditional food and drinks (which were amazing). It was so nice to meet everyone in person and talk about what to do while we are here, practicing our Portuguese, and getting to know each other. We then walked to a beautiful museum that showcased different furniture and ended the day at a local restaurant! I am so excited to see what the rest of the week has in store!
