Day 2: Brazil was very Bra-chill!

Today was very relaxing! We went to MASP, the Museum of Art here in São Paulo. I really enjoyed the paintings on the second floor. I saw some pieces from Van Gogh and Picasso that were so pretty! We saw many bikes go by and went to the markets afterward. I got a lime sugarcane drink (which was awesome!) and bought some bracelets. It was interesting to see the differences and similarities in the markets in Windsor versus São Paulo. The full street was filled here and there were many cultural offerings such as incense and handmade earrings from Indigenous creators. In Windsor, I have been to LavenderFest and the Lasalle Night Market where there are many street vendors selling handmade creations as well but on a much smaller scale. Then, the Brazilian students took us to Liberdade, the Japan town, and I tried authentic açai and got some jewelry. I originally thought açai originated from Hawaii but it’s actually from Brazil! Then we went to the mall, did some shopping, and ended off at the food court. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel did some work. Overall, it was a chill, relaxing day but I still got in 10,000 steps!
