Brazil's business ecosystem

We set out bright and early for CUBO, an innovation centre similar to EpiCentre which provides services for entrepreneurs and startups. Where things diverge is that CUBO focuses on connecting corporations to startups that may have the solutions or the expertise to create solutions for their specified problems. CUBO acts as the intermediary between these two parties across various sectors like agriculture, fintech, and even logistics. Important work aside, sliding down their rope obstacle? was easily the best and worst idea I've had in a minute...

Afterwards we wandered around the mall and experimented with an obscene amount of aromatic lotions and perfumes. We then ventured to the Canadian Consulate and I must say that I was incredibly nervous about presenting about the export project. This had been in the works for weeks, with intel from the Brazilian students and Export Development Canada (EDC). The trade commissioner sounded like a well-versed business person, considering he helped export coffins at one point (yes you read that right). It was amazing to hear him break down the similarities and differences between the Canadian and Brazilian economy while providing feedback and what was feasible with our export plan recommendations. As we learn more about Brazil's business environment, although cultural differences are present, money talks the same way across the world.
